Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Feasibility Engineer Role Summary: The role supports launch quality and feasibility assessments for an automotive programme, evaluating new model designs, build data, and controlled builds to ensure right‑first‑time outcomes. Expectations: Deliver timely feasibility analyses, resolve design‐to‑manufacture concerns, and contribute to best practice and technology integration within a mixed virtual/physical environment. Key Responsibilities: - Review new model designs in CATIA V5 to identify feasibility issues. - Analyse virtual and physical build data to support design for manufacture, assembly time, and quality targets. - Support virtual build reviews, feasibility assessments, and concern resolution through established processes. - Assist with controlled build activities, part design evaluation, and issue documentation. - Contribute to best practice development, benchmarking, and new technology integration. Required Skills: - Strong CAD proficiency in CATIA V5. - Experience in automotive manufacturing, engineering, or launch quality environments. - Knowledge of component design, assembly processes, lean principles, and dimensional management. - Structured problem‑solving ability and clear issue definition and communication. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field. - Professional institute membership (optional). - German language skills are desirable.
