Job Description
**Job Title** Intern – Ethics, Investigations & Defense **Role Summary** Assist the legal team in a fast‑growing international law office by conducting legal research, monitoring regulatory developments, drafting legal memoranda and supporting litigation work in criminal and compliance matters. **Expectations** - Work full‑time for 6 months (January‑June 2026). - Demonstrate high‑level analytical, writing and communication skills. - Collaborate with associates, counsel and partner‑level attorneys. - Produce deliverables that meet firm quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct precise legal research on business‑criminal law, compliance, and internal investigations. - Monitor legislative and regulatory developments; write concise articles or briefs. - Draft client consultations, legal opinions, and internal notes. - Review and summarize large volumes of legal documents. - Assist in drafting pleadings, written submissions and other documents for criminal litigation. **Required Skills** - Excellent written and verbal English; fluency in French preferred. - Strong legal research and analytical abilities. - High written communication proficiency and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Motivation for compliance, business criminal law and internal investigations. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrolment in a Law degree (or law school) with at least an M2 level. - Admission to, or preparation for, the French Bar Examination (École de Formation du Barreau). - Preferably hold an LLM or an equivalent foreign degree or a postgraduate business school diploma. - Prior internship experience in a French or international law firm is ideal.
