**Job title:**
Artificial Intelligence Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design and implement full‑stack Java applications that integrate AI/ML components and prompt‑engineering capabilities. Architect cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure services using containerization, serverless, and event‑driven patterns. Manage end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring for high‑availability enterprise systems.
**Expactations:**
* Deliver AI‑enabled features in production environments.
* Maintain code quality, security, and compliance standards.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with data scientists, product managers, and DevOps teams.
* Keep up‑to‑date with emerging AI tools and cloud services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web UIs using Spring Boot, Node.js, and React.
* Implement prompt‑engineering workflows and integrate GitHub Copilot and other LLM tools.
* Design event‑driven architecture with Kafka, EventBridge, SQS, and Lambda.
* Provision and manage AWS resources (ECS/EKS, Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, Glue, Athena, VPC, IAM).
* Create Terraform modules for repeatable infrastructure.
* Set up and monitor control‑M/MFT routes, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and automated tests (Cucumber, JUnit/Mockito, Gremlin, BlazeMeter/JMeter, PACT).
**Required Skills:**
* Proficiency in Java (v17+), Spring framework (including Spring Batch), Node.js, React.js, Terraform.
* Extensive experience with AWS services: ECS/EKS, Lambda, Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, Glue, Athena, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, SQS, EventBridge.
* Kafka expertise and experience with eventing patterns.
* Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, LLMs, and agentic development.
* Strong testing knowledge: Cucumber, Cucumber‑Companion, BlazeMeter, JMeter, Gremlin, PACT.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Relevant certifications in Java/Spring, AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred.
