About the Company

We are one of Canada's leading member-owned financial co-operatives, rooted deep in communities throughout British Columbia but extending wherever life takes our members. For more than 15 years, First West has proven that credit unions can remain ultra-local through our multi-brand model, while having the combined strength of a larger co-operative financial institution.

Our core business is traditional banking (personal, commercial, and business) and wealth management, delivered through community brands Island Savings, Envision Financial, Valley First and Enderby & District Financial. Our team of financial advisors takes pride in providing expert financial advice to help our members achieve their goals.

We share and invest in the co-operative movement, leveraging our expertise, technologies, best practices, and size for the benefit of all like-minded credit unions. We cultivate amazing workplaces, we step up in our communities, and we help our members, our team members, and our communities flourish.

We're redefining what banking can do for people, our local communities, and our world.
