Senior DevSecOps Engineer Role Summary: Provides hands-on security automation for AWS environments, focusing on secure infrastructure, compliance automation (CJIS/NIST 800-53), and DevSecOps practices. Designs security controls, templates, and integrates scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborates with teams to enforce compliance standards and coach on secure DevOps practices. Expactations: - Deliver SAST/SCA/IaC security pipeline templates for GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps. - Implement compliance-as-code in AWS using AWS Config and Security Hub standards. - Build reusable IaC modules (CDK/CloudFormation/Terraform) for secure infrastructure. - Generate auditable compliance artifacts and evidence tied to regulatory standards. - Coach teams on adopting secure DevSecOps practices and identifying enforcement gaps. Key Responsibilities: - Author AWS CDK/CloudFormation templates and Terraform equivalents for AWS infrastructure. - Configure AWS Config, Security Hub, and GuardDuty for centralized security monitoring. - Integrate static analysis, container, and secret scanning into CI/CD pipelines. - Develop enforceable GitHub/Azure DevOps pipeline templates with exception workflows. - Produce compliance posture reports aligned to CJIS and NIST 800-53 frameworks.
