Job Description
Job title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist Role Summary: Lead the design, planning, and execution of quality assurance for large‑scale enterprise initiatives. Combine strategic oversight with hands‑on testing to ensure delivery of defect‑free, compliant software across multi‑vendor, multi‑system environments. Expectations: - Deliver end‑to‑end QA governance for concurrent enterprise projects. - Drive continuous improvement of testing practices and metrics. - Mentor and manage a team of QA analysts. - Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align testing with business objectives. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement QA strategies, frameworks, and best practices for enterprise programs. - Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and defect tracking processes. - Lead functional, regression, and integration testing activities. - Oversee vendor‑led testing, ensuring adherence to program standards. - Manage QA schedules, dependencies, and risk mitigation across multiple workstreams. - Define, track, and report QA metrics (defect density, test coverage, release readiness). - Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts. - Support release management, configuration control, and end‑to‑end traceability. - Promote QA best practices and governance throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills - 10+ years of software QA/testing experience, including 5+ years in QA leadership roles. - Proven experience in multi‑system integration and multi‑vendor testing environments. - Hands‑on manual and/or automation testing expertise. - Strong knowledge of QA strategy development, test planning, and quality metrics. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent tools. - Experience with Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall methodologies. - Exposure to cloud‑based or SaaS implementations. - Excellent communication, mentorship, and stakeholder‑management skills. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. - Relevant QA or testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced, CSM, or equivalent) preferred.
