**Job Title:** Infrastructure Engineer – SRE DevOps
**Role Summary:**
Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure while driving reliability through SRE practices. Develop Python‑based automation for CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, security, and incident response. Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment pipelines and operational efficiency.
**Expactations:**
- 12+ years total IT experience.
- 4+ years dedicated SRE experience with strong Python programming.
- Proven ability to deliver reliable cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Demonstrated expertise in automation, observability, and security compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and operate resilient cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Create and maintain Python automation scripts for CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), and operational tasks.
- Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs, manage error budgets, and drive incident management.
- Build observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) and integrate custom Python monitoring.
- Automate security controls (vulnerability scanning, secrets management, access policies).
- Perform root‑cause analysis and accelerate remediation using Python tooling.
- Mentor development teams on Python best practices for automation and testing.
- Continuously optimize performance through data‑driven analysis of logs and metrics.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced Python development for automation and scripting.
- SRE methodologies: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident response.
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (design, networking, services).
- IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
- CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry.
- Security automation: vulnerability scanning, secret management APIs.
- Strong problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis, and performance tuning.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator/DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
