Job Description
Job title: Product Analyst Role Summary: Supports product development for US and Canadian life‑insurance and annuity products by designing, analyzing, and refining product specifications, regulations, contracts, and rate structures to ensure compliance, market fit, and operational integrity throughout the product lifecycle. Expactations: Deliver deep product and regulatory expertise, produce accurate compliance documentation, collaborate cross‑functionally, maintain high analytical precision, meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, and proactively improve processes. Expect hybrid work with a minimum of two onsite days per week. Key Responsibilities - Draft, refine, and validate insurance contracts and regulatory forms for compliance and clarity. - Support regulatory filings and approval processes, reviewing submissions, objections, and interpreting requirements. - Evaluate product initiatives and enhancements using industry best practices and Foresters knowledge. - Apply product, regulatory, and process knowledge to day‑to‑day operations, inquiries, and process improvements. - Participate in quality assurance testing, reviewing test criteria, data validation, and system changes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional and business process improvements and provide actionable recommendations. Required Skills - Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication competencies. - Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. - In-depth knowledge of US/Canadian life‑insurance regulations and product‑management best practices. - Experience in product, actuarial, operations, or business‑analysis roles. - Facilitation and interpersonal skills with independence and self‑direction. - Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new concepts and technologies. Required Education & Certifications - University degree or college diploma in a relevant field. - LOMA designation or equivalent industry accreditation. - Paralegal or legal background considered an asset.
