**Job Title:** Cognos TM1 Developer
**Role Summary:**
Lead and develop advanced TM1 and Cognos BI solutions for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. Drive cross‑regional team collaboration, oversee SDLC, CI/CD, and Agile processes, and maintain SLAs for performance, monitoring, and incident resolution.
**Expectations:**
- 7+ years of BI/Analytics experience with Cognos BI and TM1/Planning Analytics.
- Proven leadership of distributed teams across multiple geographic regions.
- Deep knowledge of DCP, FSDM, and P&L planning/analysis frameworks.
- Strong client‑facing communication; ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with full SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, Agile sprints, and support lifecycle (hyper‑care, monitoring, incident management).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain TM1 models, cubes, and workflows for financial planning and reporting.
- Configure TM1 Web and Contributor workflows; implement performance optimization and security controls.
- Collaborate with finance/business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Build and maintain ETL processes, data integrations, and automation scripts.
- Provide unit and integration testing, hyper‑care support, and ongoing model enhancements.
- Document technical specifications, data flows, and user guides.
- Mentor L2 team members and support L3 technical delivery.
- Manage SLAs for availability, proactive monitoring, and incident resolution.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in Cognos BI, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), TM1 Web, and Contributor.
- Strong data modeling, SQL, and ETL design skills.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git), Agile methodology, and SDLC.
- Performance tuning and security configuration for TM1.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, client‑facing capability.
- Ability to mentor and lead cross‑functional teams.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- IBM Cognos Planning Analytics Certification or equivalent TM1 certification strongly preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Agile (e.g., Scrum Master) or SDLC practices are a plus.
