Job Description: **Job Title** Cyber Security Engineer (M/F) **Role Summary** Design, deploy, and fortify secure network and system architectures for critical infrastructure. Oversee firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS configuration, conduct proactive threat detection, perform incident remediation, and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and CERT guidelines. **Expectations** - Deliver secure solutions from concept to production. - Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams. - Maintain independence, rigor, and continuous improvement. - Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and regulatory standards. - Provide expert guidance on risk mitigation and business continuity planning. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect resilient network solutions and implement hardening measures. - Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS. - Administer and optimize network and system environments. - Detect, analyze, and remediate attacks (DoS, intrusions, malware). - Apply ISO 27001 and CERT frameworks to security controls. - Deploy and operate SIEM/monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk). - Conduct proactive log analysis to anticipate incidents. - Contribute to business continuity and recovery plans. - Integrate security into project design phases. **Required Skills** - Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and their security. - Expertise in firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS administration and hardening. - Proficiency with SIEM/Splunk or equivalent log‑management solutions. - Strong analytical, diagnostic, and incident‑response capabilities. - Familiarity with ISO 27001, CERT and related security frameworks. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in project teams. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Computer Science, Networks, Systems, or Cybersecurity. - Certifications in ISO 27001, network security, and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk Enterprise Security) are highly desirable.
