Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, implement, secure, and manage AWS cloud services and DevSecOps pipelines. Enforce security controls across infrastructure, automate governance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, and reliable services.
Expatacations:
- Deliver secure AWS infrastructure meeting SLAs and compliance requirements.
- Continuously improve security, automation, and operational processes.
- Share knowledge and foster a DevSecOps culture within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and administer AWS foundational services (Accounts, Organizations, VPC, CloudFormation, Security Hub, Config, GuardDuty, etc.).
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines with integrated security checks and compliance validations.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, monitor security dashboards, and respond to incidents.
- Define and document technical requirements, policies, run‑books, and SLAs.
- Engage with vendors, users, and product teams to enhance delivery of AWS‑based services.
- Promote governance, security best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Explore and integrate emerging AI capabilities for automation and predictive analytics.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years AWS Cloud experience (EC2, RDS, S3, Backup, etc.).
- ≥ 3 years in operational & security automation, IaC, and scripting (Python, Bash, JavaScript, Shell).
- CI/CD DevOps tools experience (GitLab, AWS CodeDeploy, etc.).
- Cloud security & compliance, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Container orchestration (Kubernetes) and RDBMS familiarity (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, security principles (integrity, confidentiality, availability), and DevOps principles (CI/CD, automation, collaboration).
- Excellent written and verbal English; effective communication, teamwork, empathy, and conflict resolution.
- Exposure to AI tools for automation and analytics is a plus.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA (or equivalent).
- AWS certifications preferred (Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional, Security Specialty).
