Job Description
**Job Title:** Lead Software Engineer, Salesforce **Role Summary:** Senior Salesforce leader responsible for administration, architecture, security, and integration of a multi‑user environment. Drives declarative solution design, enforces platform best practices, manages data integrity, and supports DevOps. Mentors junior admins and collaborates across technical and business teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality Salesforce solutions. **Expectations:** - Lead Salesforce administration and configuration at enterprise scale. - Translate business requirements into declarative and programmatic solutions aligned with platform principles. - Maintain data quality, security, and integration integrity. - Support CI/CD, DevOps, and release management. - Mentor and develop a team of Salesforce administrators. - Stay current with Salesforce releases and AppExchange offerings. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer multi‑user Salesforce org (roles, profiles, permissions). - Design, configure, and optimize solutions using Flows, Process Builder, Lightning, and other declarative tools. - Partner with architects and stakeholders to define scalable, secure designs. - Evaluate declarative versus programmatic solutions; guide appropriate implementation. - Oversee data imports, deduplication, and integration with external systems. - Drive continuous improvement of processes and data quality. - Coordinate configuration changes (automation, objects, page layouts, record types). - Assess and adopt new Salesforce features and AppExchange products. - Collaborate with developers to refactor code into declarative automation. - Maintain documentation, policies, and training materials. - Work with third‑party vendors on new features and integrations. - Support DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub. - Communicate progress and recommendations to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - 7+ years of Salesforce administration experience. - Expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud. - Strong understanding of Salesforce security, architecture, and data model. - Experience with Omni‑Channel, CTI integrations, and contact center implementations. - Familiarity with DevOps tools, SDLC, and CI/CD. - Ability to manage data imports, integrations, and large‑scale automation. - Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. - Salesforce Advanced System Administrator certification. - Salesforce Platform App Builder certification. ---
