Job Description
**Job Title** Business Manager – Life Sciences **Role Summary** Own and execute the commercial strategy for life‑science services, driving revenue growth, client retention, and profitability. Manage a portfolio of technical consultants (pharmacists, physicians, engineers), oversee recruitment and talent development, and ensure high‑quality service delivery. **Expectations** * 1‑5 years of experience in recruitment, commercial development, or technical consulting. * Proven ability to manage and mentor a small team (10‑15 consultants). * Fluency in French; strong written and spoken English. * Valid driver’s licence. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Define and implement a commercial strategy aligned with market needs. 2. Prospect, negotiate, and close new business opportunities; manage the full sales cycle. 3. Maintain and grow existing client relationships; ensure account retention and expansion. 4. Identify and develop new service offerings to maximise account value. 5. Lead end‑to‑end recruitment: define needs, conduct interviews, and coordinate with HR. 6. Coach, develop, and retain the consulting team; manage performance and career progression. 7. Oversee project delivery, ensuring consultants meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. 8. Monitor financial metrics; drive profitability, manage risks, and resolve crises. **Required Skills** * Commercial acumen and strategic thinking. * Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Leadership and team management capability. * Ability to anticipate client needs and act proactively. * Analytical mindset with financial oversight. * Persuasive, diplomatic, and results‑oriented. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. * Professional certifications in project management or sales (e.g., PMP, CSM, or equivalent) are a plus.
