Job Description
Job Title Junior Account Manager – Rest of World Banks Role Summary Drive growth of SaaS payment solutions for new and existing banking clients outside the UK. Manages sales cycle from prospecting to closing multi‑year contracts, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet regional revenue targets. Expectations - Deliver on annual portfolio plan and sales quotas within the regional sales forecast. - Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects, achieving agreed targets for outreach, meetings and closed deals. - Provide accurate forecasts, reports and insights on market potential, customer needs and competitive activity to senior management. - Demonstrate strong stakeholder management with C‑level technical and business buyers. Key Responsibilities - Prospect, qualify and close new logo banking clients via cold calling, campaigns, and referrals. - Present, demo and negotiate SaaS‑based payment solutions, tailoring the value proposition to each audience. - Create and maintain a detailed sales pipeline in CRM, tracking progress and forecasting outcomes. - Collaborate with pre‑sales, marketing, product and operations to align on product positioning and enable smooth handoffs. - Produce and deliver quarterly and annual portfolio reports, highlighting wins, risks and growth opportunities. - Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes impacting banking clients. - Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and best practices. Required Skills - Proven experience selling SaaS or fintech solutions to banks, financial institutions or multinational corporates. - Ability to engage C‑level stakeholders and navigate complex buying cycles. - Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Excellent time‑management, organization, and documentation skills. - Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - No mandatory industry certifications required; experience with finance‑messaging or payment solutions preferred.
