Job Description
**Job Title** ServiceNow Developer **Role Summary** Design, develop, configure, and maintain on‑premises ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, SECOPs, and GRC domains. Lead lifecycle activities, ensure DoD security compliance, and collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams. **Expectations** - 5+ years of technical experience in ServiceNow and related technologies. - Active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and eligibility for IAT Level II. - Obtain ITIL V4 Foundation within six months. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, plug‑ins, and integrations per stakeholder requirements. - Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and coordinate with stakeholders. - Build, administer, upgrade, and maintain on‑premises ServiceNow infrastructure on RHEL 7/8 and Windows Server 2019. - Patch, update, and harden OS and Tomcat, enforce DISA STIG/SRG guidance. - Manage ServiceNow instance registration, vendor relationships, and HIWAVE account membership. - Install/addon apps on premises; support front‑end administration. - Administer MariaDB databases, schedule backups, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues. - Coordinate with Network Operations for F5 BigIP load balancing and proxy configurations. - Produce/install guidance, SOPs, KBAs, upgrade guides, and other documentation. - Create diagrams for complex design solutions. **Required Skills** - Linux OS administration (RHEL 7/8). - Windows Server 2019 administration. - MariaDB/MySQL DBA fundamentals. - Domain separation, certificate management, SAML/LDAP/Active Directory integration. - ServiceNow application development, scripting (JavaScript), REST and SOAP APIs. - Agile/Scrum practices, Jira (or comparable RTM). - Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). - Secret clearance (current). - ITIL V4 Foundation (obtainable within six months). - Eligibility for IAT Level II access and compliance with DoD 8750.
