**Job Title:**
Senior Director, Business Intelligence
**Role Summary:**
Lead the end‑to‑end Business Intelligence function across a high‑volume client portfolio. Own the BI strategy, operating model, and foundational architecture, while building and managing a multidisciplinary team of BI Leads, analysts, data scientists, and AI practitioners to deliver data‑driven insights that accelerate revenue growth, retention, and customer lifetime value.
**Expectations:**
- Drive revenue and retention metrics through data‑centric decision making.
- Establish and maintain robust BI governance, data standards, and quality assurance.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to executives and clients.
- Scale BI operations, pipelines, and self‑serve tools to meet evolving business demands.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Own and evolve the BI strategy and operating model for a complex client base.
- Partner with client leaders and cross‑functional teams to define options, evaluate trade‑offs, and translate ambiguous data into decisive strategies.
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, semantic layers, and source‑of‑truth dashboards with strong governance and security.
- Codify SOPs, data standards, and QA practices; drive adoption through enablement and training.
- Define KPI frameworks and leading indicators that surface risks and support data‑driven decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop BI Leads and senior individual contributors, setting high performance standards.
- Champion continuous improvement through reviews, critiques, and post‑mortems to increase speed and reliability.
- Deliver advanced analytics, self‑serve tools, and data narratives that reinforce proposals, negotiations, and renewals.
**Required Skills:**
- 7–10+ years in Analytics/BI with 3–5+ years leading multi‑function teams.
- Deep expertise in social media/digital advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, Snapchat) and performance funnels.
- Proven experience with ad tech, marketing data infrastructure, and measurement methodologies (brand lift, MTA, MMM).
- Strong data governance, modeling, and documentation capabilities.
- Product/consultative mindset to frame problems, design analyses, and communicate trade‑offs.
- Proficiency with modern data stacks (SQL, dbt, cloud warehouses), BI tools, and data visualization best practices.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and deliver business outcomes under tight timelines.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or related field.
- Advanced certifications in data analytics or BI tools (e.g., Certified Business Intelligence Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate) are advantageous.
