Job title: Senior Software Configuration/Release Engineer Role Summary: Designs, automates, and maintains cloud configuration, release, and infrastructure processes across AWS environments, ensuring high availability, security, compliance, and governance. Expactations: Deliver robust IaC solutions, manage multiple environments, support automation pipelines, implement backup, patch, and certificate management, and document standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and enforce configuration management policies for AWS. - Build and deploy IaC using Terraform for provisioning and lifecycle of AWS resources. - Manage Dev/Test/Stage/Prod environments, ensuring consistency and security. - Support CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline. - Design automated backup strategies and patching workflows. - Handle SSL/TLS certificate installation, renewal, rotation, and validation. - Maintain accurate documentation of baselines, standards, and changes. - Provide training on Terraform, AWS best practices, backup, patching, and certificates.
