Job Description
Job Title: Test Data & Automation Engineer Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain automated test workflows while translating raw test data into clear technical reports to support motor testing and process improvement. Expectations: Deliver efficient automation solutions, produce accurate data summaries, collaborate closely with test engineers, analyze data for stability and repeatability, and apply AI or scripting tools to enhance testing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automation scripts and test setups. - Convert raw sensor data into summarized technical reports that meet customer requirements. - Collaborate with test engineers during motor testing campaigns. - Analyze batch test data to assess process stability and motor repeatability. - Implement AI or scripting tools to streamline testing and reporting. - Support continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation. Required Skills: - Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, or related). - Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities. - Proficiency in coding/automation (Python, MATLAB, or similar). - Experience with test automation/control software (e.g., National Instruments VeriStand, LabVIEW, TestStand, or equivalent). - Familiarity with AI-based tools is a plus. - Knowledge of electric machines, motors, or power electronics. - Comfortable with scripting and data manipulation. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (equivalent). - Certifications in test control/automation software (e.g., VeriStand, LabVIEW, TestStand) preferred but not mandatory.
