**Job Title:** Vice President, Strategy and Business Development
**Role Summary:**
Lead the organization’s strategic growth and business development, driving partnership creation, strategic initiatives, and operational efficiencies. Operate at the intersection of music, media, data, and technology, guiding cross‑functional teams and influencing senior leadership and the board.

- Communicate complex analyses into clear, concise insights for senior stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, negotiate, and close new and existing partnerships, preparing analyses, drafting agreements, and securing cross‑functional approvals.
- Lead market and industry analyses to identify growth opportunities, competitive positioning, and strategic recommendations for organizational evolution.
- Own and execute cross‑departmental task forces for priority initiatives, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
- Manage annual budget planning, financial tracking, and fiscal modeling for the Strategy and Development Department.
- Conduct strategic operational assessments to enhance resource utilization and identify efficiency gains.
- Produce executive‑level presentations for senior management and the board, translating data insights into actionable strategy.
**Required Skills:**
- 15+ years of senior‑level experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, business development, or in‑house strategy.
- Minimum 6 years of proven success leading complex, high‑volume deal negotiations.
- Strong strategy development background: market analysis, investment thesis creation, and strategic presentation skills.
- Hands‑on expertise with generative AI technologies, including adoption, application, and risk awareness for creative professions.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative modeling capabilities (Excel, PowerBI, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at simplifying complex concepts for senior audiences.
- Leadership and influence across cross‑functional teams; proven ability to drive execution.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related discipline.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Valid certifications such as CBAP, CFA, or comparable professional credentials are advantageous.
