**Job Title:** Vice President, Logistics Sales **Role Summary:** Senior sales executive responsible for driving new business and expanding market share for a managed transportation division. Leads outbound prospecting, relationship building, and solution selling across a comprehensive suite of freight and warehousing services, targeting large enterprise customers. **Expectations:** - Acquire and nurture high‑value accounts (annual spend $1B+). - Consistently generate new revenue streams and grow portfolio share. - Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering customized logistics solutions. - Travel extensively (≥60% of time) to engage customers and industry events. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prospect, qualify, and close large accounts using inbound leads and personal network. - Conduct needs assessments and craft tailored proposals covering LTL, TL, Cross‑Docks, IML, Final Mile, and warehousing. - Collaborate with pricing, operations, and marketing to deliver integrated solutions. - Utilize sales platforms (LinkedIn, Eloqua, Avention) and data tools to build and maintain a robust pipeline. - Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to C‑level stakeholders. - Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and report progress to executive leadership. - Represent the company at industry conferences and events to build brand visibility and network. - Continuously update product knowledge and stay informed on market trends and competitor activities. **Required Skills:** - 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in transportation/logistics. - Proven track record closing deals with large enterprises (>$1B). - Deep understanding of domestic and cross‑border freight solutions. - Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. - Project management and multi‑priority handling skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). - Self‑motivated, independent, and comfortable high‑volume travel. - Ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams and adapt to new systems. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Certifications in logistics, supply chain, or sales (e.g., CSCP, APICS, Certified Sales Professional) preferred but not mandatory.
