**Job Title**
Full Stack Java Developer – Securities Lending Front Office
**Role Summary**
Design, build, and maintain high‑availability securities lending platforms for a front‑office environment. Work closely with traders, quants, and risk teams to deliver market‑critical order, loan, and pricing solutions using Java and complementary web technologies.
**Expactations**
* 6‑month engagement with potential extension
* Hybrid schedule (2–3 on‑site days per week)
* Final in‑person interview after multiple video rounds and a coding test
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and extend securities lending features (loan origination, inventory management, pricing, P&L calculations).
- Integrate mission‑critical trading infrastructure (order, stock loan, market‑data feeds).
- Collaborate directly with trading desks, quants, and risk controls to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement DevSecOps pipelines, ensuring continuous integration, automated testing, security scanning, and compliance checks.
- Maintain and enhance front‑end components (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for trader interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance on Java back‑end services and messaging queues.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and knowledge transfer sessions.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years’ Java development experience in capital markets/financial services.
- In‑depth knowledge of securities‑lending platforms (FIS Loanet/Loanex, Global One).
- Experience with order/stock‑loan/market‑data systems and B.T.C.C.
- Proficient with Spring, Hibernate, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake).
- DevSecOps tools: Jenkins, Ansible, PuppetLabs, Sonatype, SonarQube, Tenable, Invicti, Zero Networks.
- Front‑end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Version control (Git) and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Optional: AI/ML (DL4J), log observability (Elasticsearch/Kibana/Splunk), pricing/Q&A models, compliance knowledge.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications: Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE, Spring Professional, or equivalent.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) or DevOps practices are advantageous.
