Job Description

Job Title Salesforce Business Analyst – Financial Services Role Summary Map business requirements into Salesforce solutions within the financial services domain. Manage the full backlog lifecycle, transform stakeholder needs into detailed user stories, support functional testing, and drive continuous improvement on the platform. Expectations - Deliver high‑quality business analysis work for Financial Services Cloud initiatives. - Collaborate closely with cross‑functional agile teams (product, engineering, QA, operations). - Own backlog grooming, story sizing, and acceptance criteria. - Provide early user acceptance testing and secure stakeholder buy‑in on deliverables. Key Responsibilities - Gather, analyze, and document detailed functional requirements for FCA‑compliant processes. - Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices. - Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders. - Conduct UAT session coordination, defect logging, and resolution tracking. - Translate complex regulatory and banking workloads into actionable Salesforce features. - Support release management, change control, and post‑go‑live monitoring. - Work with QA to design test cases, review test results, and validate compliance. - Provide periodic status reporting to project sponsors and scrum masters. Required Skills - 3+ years as a Salesforce Business Analyst in banking or related financial services. - Strong understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) features and best practices. - Proficiency in user story creation, backlog management, and acceptance testing. - Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives). - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Ability to interpret regulatory and compliance requirements into functional specifications. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Salesforce Certified Business Analyst or equivalent Salesforce credential preferred. - Familiarity with Compliance, AML or related financial regulations is advantageous.
