Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Lead analytics for a high‑profile video game IP, designing and maintaining telemetry to capture player behavior, delivering actionable insights, and driving data‑driven decisions across cross‑functional teams. **Expectations:** - Drive the implementation and upkeep of game‑performance reporting tools. - Translate complex data into strategic recommendations that improve player engagement and monetization. - Collaborate with engineering, product, and research partners to iterate on data solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and validate game telemetry during production to enable detailed behavioral analysis. - Identify analytical challenges, design solutions, and deliver outputs (dashboards, reports, ad‑hoc analyses). - Create clear, documented analyses and visualizations that convey player insights to non‑technical stakeholders. - Foster strong cross‑functional relationships, ensuring data requirements are understood and met. - Balance velocity, accuracy, and quality when adapting tools and approaches to solve complex problems. - Promote data literacy and analytics best practices within the studio. **Required Skills:** - Strong statistical knowledge and proficiency in applying diverse analytical methods. - Advanced SQL database skills and experience with NoSQL data stores. - Expertise in data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau). - Familiarity with cloud analytics services (AWS, Snowflake). - Excellent organizational and autonomous working abilities. - Effective written and verbal communication for collaboration with technical and non‑technical teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. - Professional certifications in SQL, data analysis, or cloud platforms are advantageous.
