GCP Infra & Cyber Solution Architect
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, deployment, and security of enterprise‑grade data platforms on Google Cloud, integrating architecture, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity to deliver resilient, compliant, and optimized data solutions for advanced analytics, AI/ML, and real‑time workloads.
**Expectations**
- 7+ years in cloud architecture, 3+ years focused on Google Cloud secure data platforms.
- Proven experience designing production‑ready reference architectures.
- Strong communication with engineering, security, networking, and governance stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define reference and deployment architectures for BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, GKE, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, and associated services.
- Enforce security controls and compliance (VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, Security Command Center, IAM, IAM Recommender).
- Guide platform engineering teams on infrastructure best practices, automation, and deployment pipelines.
- Implement data security measures: DLP API, CMEK/CSEK, Dataplex governance.
- Design network infrastructure (DNS, load balancing, VPN, Interconnect) to support secure, high‑performance workloads.
- Use Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), Anthos for infrastructure as code and hybrid/multi‑cluster management.
- Collaborate with enterprise security, networking, and governance teams to align platform strategy with corporate policies.
- Continuously evaluate emerging GCP services and cyber tools to improve platform capability and security posture.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in GCP services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, GKE, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage.
- Proficiency in security tools: VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, Security Command Center, IAM, IAM Recommender, DLP API, CMEK/CSEK, Dataplex.
- Advanced infrastructure skills: Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), Anthos, DNS, load balancing, networking.
- Strong understanding of data platform architecture, scaling, and real‑time processing.
- Ability to design secure‑by‑design, compliant, and resilient data ecosystems.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Google Professional Cloud Architect (required).
- Google Professional Data Engineer and Professional Cloud Security Engineer (preferred).
