Job Description
Job Title: Security Compliance Manager Role Summary: Lead security operations and compliance to protect assets and ensure adherence to regulatory standards for gaming operations. Expectations: Deliver effective internal controls, conduct risk assessments, manage incidents, supervise staff, maintain compliance with casino and gaming regulations, and oversee scheduling and budgeting for the security department. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain floor presence to promptly address inquiries and incidents. - Control access to facility and secure areas; assist other departments. - Compile reporting, maintain daily logs, conduct investigations. - Ensure that security policies meet or exceed casino and regulator standards. - Lead, train, mentor, evaluate, and provide feedback to security staff; handle HR, recruitment, and performance management. - Stay updated on company policies, provincial regulations, and gaming standards. - Contribute to service standards, develop department budget, and control scheduling and expenditures. Required Skills: - Minimum 1 year experience in security or related field. - Strong analytical, organized, and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication and customer‑service skills. - Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet, and presentation software. - Ability to work flexible hours, including 24/7 on‑call availability. Required Education & Certifications: - Post‑secondary education in law, security, or related discipline. - Current First Aid/CPR certification. - Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
