Marketing Analyst, SEO
**Role Summary**
Analyze and optimize organic and paid acquisition performance to drive efficient spend and growth. Combine data analytics, search optimization, and marketing insight to influence strategy, budgeting, and cross‑channel attribution.
**Expectations**
Deliver actionable insights that improve ROI, inform bidding/SEO priorities, and shape product/content roadmaps. Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and senior leadership. Own end‑to‑end reporting and modelling for SEO, SEM, and paid campaigns.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Own reporting on SEO, SEM, and paid media: spend, CPA, ROAS, conversion metrics.
- Evaluate keyword/campaign performance across Google, Bing, YouTube, and emerging search platforms; identify high‑ROI opportunities.
- Lead SEO performance analysis: organic visibility, technical SEO, on‑site engagement.
- Build & maintain SQL/BI dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for automated reporting.
- Develop attribution/incrementality models to assess cross‑channel impact and budget allocation.
- Design and execute A/B and hold‑out tests for keyword, landing‑page, and channel lift.
- Translate data insights into strategic recommendations for bidding, SEO investment, and creative direction.
- Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering to ensure accurate tracking and attribution.
**Required Skills**
- 2‑4 years marketing analytics experience.
- Proficiency in SQL for large‑dataset querying and pipeline building.
- Hands‑on with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog) and paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta).
- Strong understanding of marketing metrics (CTR, CVR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, share of voice).
- Experience with data visualization (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of attribution models (multi‑touch, last‑click, data‑driven).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate analytics into strategy.
- Growth mindset: curious, proactive, hypothesis‑driven.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
