Job Description: Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Backend) Role Summary: Design, build, and scale robust backend systems that automate enterprise workflows across web and desktop platforms. Collaborate with engineering, product, and machine‑learning teams to integrate state‑of‑the‑art AI models into production services, ensuring high concurrency, reliability, and observability at scale. Expectations: - Deliver production‑ready services that handle hundreds of concurrent browser and desktop workflows. - Lead end‑to‑end ownership of backend components, from architecture to deployment and monitoring. - Translate high‑level product goals into shippable milestones with cross‑functional partners. - Maintain code quality, performance, and security best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Own systems that automate repetitive work across browser and desktop platforms, managing concurrency, reliability, and observability. - Partner with CTO and ML research teams to deploy agentic workflow models into production. - Architect and scale backend infrastructure supporting a Figma‑style visual workflow builder for non‑technical teams. - Design and implement services that integrate with advanced AI models for workflow generation, document parsing, and adaptive execution logic. - Deploy, monitor, and manage services in Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance. Required Skills: - Fluency in Typescript and Python (both mandatory). - 4+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems at enterprise scale. - Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes: design, deployment, and scaling of production services. - Proven ability to break high‑level goals into deliverable milestones with engineers and product managers. - Experience in early‑stage startup environments. - Bonus: knowledge of distributed workflow orchestration frameworks such as Cadence or Temporal.io. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
