**Job Title:** PMO Engineer – Costing & Planning (M/F)
**Role Summary:**
Integrate the technical directorate’s PMO team to ensure control of cost, schedule, and quality for a large‑scale, low‑carbon energy project. Drive planning, cost tracking, and reporting while aligning technical and operational activities across multiple disciplines.
**Expectations:**
- Maintain accurate cost and schedule data throughout all project phases.
- Deliver timely financial and planning dashboards to senior management.
- Facilitate cross‑functional coordination to meet milestones and budget targets.
- Propose and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives for PMO and cost‑control processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Establish and maintain project planning repository for industrial phases (overall and detailed schedules).
- Monitor schedules, track milestones, identify variances, and trigger corrective actions.
- Organize and lead follow‑up meetings (agenda, minutes, action plans).
- Develop, track, and analyze project costs (feasibility, basic design, detailed design, execution).
- Build financial dashboards and provide clear cost visibility to leadership.
- Support feasibility studies, supplier quotation requests, and variance analyses.
- Serve as primary point of contact for financial data and cost reporting.
- Produce and control deliverables related to planning and costing; ensure document traceability (GED, matrices).
- Identify process optimization opportunities and recommend innovative tools to enhance project control.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced proficiency with planning tools: MS Project, Primavera, PERT/Gantt.
- Strong knowledge of ERP and project management systems: SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence.
- Expert Excel skills, financial reporting, and cost‑control analysis.
- Analytical mindset, rigorous, autonomous, and proactive.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with diverse stakeholders.
- Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Master’s level (Bac+5) degree in Engineering, Industrial Project Management, Finance, Costing, or related field.
- Proven experience in a complex industrial environment (energy, nuclear, defense, transport, etc.).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Cost Engineering) are a plus but not mandatory.
