Job Description: **Job Title:** Senior Product Designer – Managed Portfolios **Role Summary:** Design and ship high‑impact mobile experiences that enable financial decision‑making for a large consumer base, owning the full design stack and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to shape the future of personal finance. **Expectations:** - Deliver end‑to‑end product designs, from research to high‑fidelity UI and micro‑interactions. - Own quality and clarity of work, raising design standards across the team. - Communicate decisions clearly and mentor peers in high‑level initiatives. - Leverage data and user research to guide design solutions that align with business goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct research and synthesize insights to identify user needs and opportunities. - Create discovery artifacts, prototypes, visual designs, and detailed interaction specifications. - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and content teams to ship real, consumer‑facing mobile apps. - Advance and maintain the design system, ensuring consistency and scalability. - Advocate for users throughout the product lifecycle, informing strategy and prioritization. - Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years of experience in product or UX design, with a proven portfolio of consumer mobile apps (React Native, iOS, Android). - Strong visual design proficiency and the ability to simplify complex problems. - User‑centered mindset with expertise in balancing detail and speed. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across product, engineering, and content teams. - Familiarity with personal finance contexts (banking, investing, financial planning tools) is a plus. - Demonstrated ability to ship high‑quality, data‑driven product work end‑to‑end. - For staff level: experience leading large initiatives, mentoring, and driving design strategy. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related discipline. - Portfolio submission required, showcasing design process, decision rationale, and business impact.
