**Job title:** Senior Business Analyst **Role summary:** Lead business analysis for a “Lab of the Future” project, gathering and documenting requirements from laboratory scientists to support LIMS/ELN implementation and optimization. **Expectations:** • Work onsite 3–4 days/week; 2-year contract starting Nov 12. • Deliver high‑quality functional specifications, process models, and business case artifacts. • Partner closely with scientists and project stakeholders to define process improvements and system enhancements. **Key responsibilities:** - Conduct discovery workshops and gap analyses with laboratory scientists and other stakeholders. - Translate scientific workflows into detailed functional requirements for LIMS/ELN systems. - Create use cases, user stories, process flows, and data models in an Agile environment. - Facilitate requirements traceability and validation throughout the project lifecycle. - Coordinate with development, QA, and implementation teams to ensure alignment with scientific goals. - Support change management and training activities for laboratory staff. **Required skills:** - 7–10 years of business analysis experience, preferably in life sciences. - Strong Agile methodology knowledge and experience working on Agile teams. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Prior experience with LIMS or ELN systems (e.g., Genentech, Gilead, Roche) and working directly with laboratory scientists. - Ability to translate scientific and technical concepts into clear business requirements. **Required education & certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, information systems, or related field. - Business Analysis Certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) preferred.
