Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Role Summary: Senior Azure Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing Azure infrastructure for a growing tech team. Hands‑on role with strategic influence across engineering, data, and DevOps.
Expactations: Deliver secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient cloud solutions, automate infrastructure, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, maintain high availability and performance, and support data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage Azure resources (VMs, App Services, Networking, Storage).
- Automate deployments using Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Deploy and scale containerized workloads on AKS with Helm.
- Implement API management, IAM (RBAC, Auth0), and security controls.
- Monitor performance, analyze metrics, and optimize costs with Azure native and third‑party tools.
- Support Azure data services including Databricks, Snowflake, and dbt.
- Collaborate in Agile environments, participate in sprint planning and stakeholder reviews.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and services.
- Strong experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and automation.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, AKS, Helm, and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of API gateways, IAM, RBAC, Auth0.
- Experience with Azure data platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, dbt.
- Familiarity with monitoring, cost management, and performance tuning.
- Agile teamwork, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, or equivalent certifications.
- Terraform Associate or similar cloud automation certification preferred.
