Job Description
**Job Title** Security Consultant **Role Summary** Deliver engineering design, specification, and integration of electronic security systems for high‑profile mixed‑use, workplace and critical infrastructure projects, ensuring client safety and compliance with RIBA design stages. **Expectations** - Produce complete security system designs aligned with client requirements and project phases. - Maintain high design quality, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards. - Provide innovative, intuitive solutions and proactive risk mitigation. **Key Responsibilities** - Design video surveillance, access control, intruder alarm, intercom, and integrated security management systems. - Develop general arrangement drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. - Prepare technical reports and site survey findings. - Conduct on‑site inspections and facilitate client reviews. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate security solutions. - Identify and resolve design challenges, ensuring project deliverables remain on schedule. **Required Skills** - Strong knowledge of electronic security technologies and integration principles. - Proficient in CAD/CAE tools and security layout software. - Ability to produce high‑detail drawings, schematics, and specifications. - Experience with RIBA Plan of Work (phases 2–5) and project delivery lifecycle. - Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at stakeholder engagement. - Analytical problem‑solving and proactive initiative. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field. - Professional experience or certification in security system design (e.g., Certified Systems Security Professional, CISSP, or equivalent preferred).
