Job Title: ML Research Engineer Role Summary: Lead NLP-driven research and development for real-time translation solutions. Collaborate with product teams to prototype, evaluate, and deploy ML models. Stay current with state-of-the-art AI research and contribute to academic publications and patents. Expectations: Apply independent problem-solving and collaboration to advance real-world translation solutions. Balance theoretical innovation with practical implementation. Mentor junior teams and prioritize business-aligned outcomes over purely theoretical approaches. Key Responsibilities: 1. Prototype ML solutions for real-time translation challenges and product enhancements. 2. Translate technical research into production-ready code with product engineering teams. 3. Integrate ML systems into user-facing products via cross-functional collaboration (product, backend, PMs). 4. Analyze academic literature to identify cutting-edge translation methodologies. 5. Author research papers, patents, and internal publications as needed. 6. Mentor junior researchers/interns and enhance shared ML infrastructure/tools. Required Skills: 1. Full ML lifecycle expertise (development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance). 2. Advanced programming proficiency in ML frameworks. 3.
