Team Lead, Advertising Sales – UK & France
**Role Summary**
Lead a newly formed New Business sales team within the Global Growth Advertiser Sales function. Drive pipeline development, forecasting, and revenue attainment while coaching and managing a high‑performance team. Operate as both a sales professional and a manager, focusing on the UK and French markets.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience in digital media or related fields, with proven achievement and leadership ability.
- Native or professional fluency in English; French fluency or strong proficiency is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in deal structuring, negotiation, and closing performance‑advertising or ad‑tech deals.
- Strong analytical mindset to derive insights from client conversations and data.
- Technical aptitude to quickly learn and use campaign tools and CRM systems.
- Excellent prioritisation and communication skills to manage multiple demands and guide the team.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Recruit, train, and motivate a high‑performing New Business sales team.
2. Build and maintain a robust pipeline, generate leads, and close deals to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
3. Coach team members through the entire sales cycle, sharing best practices and elevating performance.
4. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Account Management to improve lead generation and client success.
5. Design tailored media plans and advisory strategies that align with client objectives.
6. Negotiate contracts, manage deal terms, and ensure alignment with organizational pricing and policy.
7. Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and Salesforce data management.
8. Represent the organization at industry events and strengthen market presence in the UK & France.
**Required Skills**
- Bilingual proficiency: English (native/professional) and French (preferred).
- Proven digital media sales experience with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
- Deal structuring, negotiation, and closing expertise.
- Solid understanding of media buying KPIs (CPM, CTR, ROAS, etc.).
- Technical proficiency with campaign management tools and CRM (Salesforce).
- Strong analytical ability and data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Prior exposure to ad‑tech, social media marketing, or performance advertising (bonus).
- Familiarity with sales tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, Apollo, Lusha, etc.) (bonus).
- E‑commerce/Shopify experience and creative pitching using tools like Canva (bonus).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in sales, ad‑tech, or digital marketing are advantageous but not mandatory.
