Job Description

**Job title:** Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist **Role Summary:** Transforms financial and operational data into actionable intelligence for the UK dealer network and headquarters, delivering automated reports and dashboards that inform strategic decision‑making and profitability improvement. **Expactations:** - Deliver high‑quality, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports on schedule. - Maintain data integrity and performance of all reporting tools. - Collaborate with finance, sales, aftersales and network development teams to understand and anticipate reporting needs. - Provide training and support to end users for self‑service analytics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain automated Power BI reports and dashboards (New Car, Used Car, Aftersales profitability, dealer network scorecards). - Analyse multi‑source datasets (DBS, ERP, internal financial systems) to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities. - Translate analytical findings into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for senior management, including trend extrapolation and basic forecasting. - Ensure data integrity through robust validation processes and collaborate with IT/data teams to optimise data pipelines and warehouse structures. - Act as a subject‑matter expert, proactively identifying new reporting requirements and driving reporting enhancements. **Required Skills:** - Expert proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (DAX, data modelling, performance optimisation). - Advanced SQL knowledge for data extraction, transformation and manipulation. - Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas). - Solid understanding of financial statements and P&L analysis. - Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field. - Professional certifications in Business Intelligence, Power BI, or Data Analytics preferred.
