Job Description
Job Title: Data Scientist Role Summary: Develop, deploy, and monitor machine‑learning models on client data to generate actionable insights and visualizations. Lead end‑to‑end AI/ML projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and document best practices. Expectations: * Deliver accurate, efficient, and well‑documented AI/ML solutions on schedule. * Communicate technical findings to non‑technical audiences in clear, visual formats. * Support customers and internal teams with data queries and model troubleshooting. * Continuously research and incorporate new AI techniques to add value to projects. Key Responsibilities: * Design, build, test, and deploy ML models (Python/SQL, Pandas, Scikit‑learn, MLflow). * Manage full ML lifecycle: data ingestion, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, monitoring. * Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations that translate model outputs into business metrics. * Write and maintain documentation on model design, assumptions, and best practices. * Work across the tech stack (architecture, UX, APIs) to integrate models into production systems. * Identify and address business obstacles through data analysis. * Act as first‑line support for data and model‑related questions. * Collaborate with peers to develop processes, frameworks, and quality standards. Required Skills: * 3+ years data science experience. * Proficiency in Python, SQL, Pandas, Scikit‑learn, MLflow. * Strong mathematical foundation (probability, queuing theory, linear programming, game theory, Poisson). * Advanced statistical analysis and capability to build complex formulas. * Excellent communication, presentation, and visual storytelling skills. * Organizational ability to meet fixed deadlines. * Collaborative mindset, continuous learning, problem‑solving, critical thinking. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field *or* 3 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Experience: * Client‑facing ML model development. * Generative AI (RAG, agents, Text2SQL), familiarity with LangChain/Graph. * Snowflake, AWS SageMaker/Bedrock. * MLOps best practices, Flask/FastAPI, web application frameworks.
