Job Description
**Job title** Database Manager (M/F) **Role Summary** Coordinate the entire lifecycle of master data for Marketing, Product, Trade & Operations. Manage coding of articles and attributes in the ERP, ensure data quality exceeds 99 %, maintain the Article Master dataset, and synchronize all related systems. Work cross‑functionally with S&OP, Purchasing, Finance, and IT to uphold consistent nomenclature and support production planning. **Expactations** - Deliver and sustain a data quality level > 99 % prior to production campaigns. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date master data across all business units. - Proactively improve workflow processes to enhance upstream data integrity. - Manage large volumes of information while adhering to established scheduling and timelines. **Key Responsibilities** - Coordinate request handling for service coding with Marketing, Product, Trade, and Procurement teams. - Oversee data collection, enrichment, and validation within the workflow tool, managing annual product plan hand‑offs. - Ensure consistency of nomenclature with S&OP and Purchasing, updating information as needed. - Execute article coding and attribute mapping in ERP; integrate master data into system configurations. - Validate integrated data against master data, identify root causes, lead corrective actions, and achieve > 99 % quality. - Enforce coding rules and allocation structures per group merchandising guidelines. - Maintain Article Master lifecycle – set entry/exit points, manage product life cycles. - Ensure synchronization between Traceability, ERP, and Marketing systems via configured data links. - Deploy and evolve monitoring tools to cover local and future specifications. - Liaise with Marketing, Product, Sales, Finance, and IT across headquarters and subsidiaries. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in master data management & ERP data governance. - Strong coordination and cross‑functional collaboration abilities. - Excellent analytical, data‑quality, and problem‑solving skills. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP preferred. - Fluency in English; French language skills a plus. - Self‑driven, adaptable, rigorous, and capable of handling large data volumes. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field. - Certifications in Master Data Management, SAP, or data quality (e.g., DAMA‑PMI, SAP data services) are advantageous but not mandatory.
