Job Description
Job title: Senior Director – Procurement Consulting Role Summary: Leads large‑scale procurement transformation programs for global enterprise clients, driving strategy, operating model design, category management, digital enablement, and managed services integration. Owns P&L, growth, and delivery excellence while shaping go‑to‑market strategy and internal capabilities. Serves as executive sponsor and trusted advisor to C‑suite stakeholders. Expectations: - 15+ years of procurement or supply chain consulting experience, with proven leadership of multi‑million‑dollar transformation projects. - Demonstrated ability to secure and grow C‑suite level client relationships across CPG, manufacturing, energy, financial services, and similar sectors. - Strong P&L ownership, ensuring profitability, resource efficiency, and commercial controls. - Leadership of high‑performing, cross‑functional teams, fostering coaching, mentoring, and capability development. - Proven track record of influencing senior executives, delivering complex engagements, and managing stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategic procurement transformation roadmaps for top‑tier clients; define operating models, performance targets, and cost‑reduction initiatives. - Serve as executive sponsor for consulting and managed services engagements, guaranteeing quality, profitability, and client satisfaction. - Lead business development: identify new opportunities, deepen existing accounts, contribute to commercial strategy and go‑to‑market positioning. - Oversight of delivery governance: enforce methodology adherence, commercial controls, and KPI achievement. - Mentor and grow a multi‑disciplinary consulting team; conduct performance reviews, skill assessments, and succession planning. - Collaborate with Finance and Operations to manage project budgets, resource utilization, and overall profitability. - Represent the firm externally through thought leadership, industry events, and publications; maintain visibility as a procurement subject matter expert. - Partner with leadership to shape product/IP offerings and define value proposition around digital procurement, sustainability, and supplier collaboration.
