Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives
**Role Summary**
Lead cross‑functional strategic projects within a large retail or consumer organization, driving end‑to‑end solution development for high‑impact initiatives, such as mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, and new ventures. Act as trusted executive advisor and project owner, ensuring analytical rigor, stakeholder alignment, and timely delivery of business cases, financial models and implementation roadmaps.

- Own complex, ambiguous problems, shape clear hypotheses and deliver structured, actionable insights.
- Provide independent, data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership, influencing key decision‑making.
- Manage communication and relationships with executive stakeholders, presenting findings and securing buy‑in.
- Deliver results with high integrity, accountability, and a customer‑centric mindset.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Frame business challenges, develop clear problem statements and structured analytic frameworks.
2. Build comprehensive business cases and financial models using multiple data sources and modeling techniques.
3. Lead project streams, define analytical approaches, and steward deliverables to completion.
4. Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis to uncover opportunities and risks.
5. Prepare concise, persuasive presentations for executive audiences and lead agenda setting.
6. Coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
7. Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering analytical talent development.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced analytical and structured strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in quantitative modeling, data analysis, and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, business intelligence platforms).
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
- Experience leading stakeholder relationships and influencing senior executives.
- Project management skills, including scoping, resource planning, and risk mitigation.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) preferred.
- 5+ years of strategy or management consulting experience in a large retail or consumer organization; 1–2 years of people‑leadership experience.
