**Job Title:** Senior Architect
**Role Summary:**
Design and lead the implementation of enterprise‑level solutions that align IT architecture with business strategy in supply chain, logistics, and merchandising. Drive concept, documentation, review, and governance of solutions across cloud‑native, networking, and integration domains, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver architecture that meets functional, non‑functional, security, and disaster‑recovery requirements.
- Balance short‑term project needs with long‑term enterprise standards and FinOps best practices.
- Influence stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and promote a collaborative, customer‑centric culture.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Advise business and IT stakeholders on architectural options, risks, and implications.
- Translate business capabilities into conceptual and technical architecture designs.
- Conduct business, technology, and architecture planning sessions to anticipate future changes.
- Build and present architecture design documents, patterns, and roadmaps.
- Facilitate solution design reviews, ensuring alignment with business goals and budget impact analysis.
- Collaborate with product owners, solution delivery leads, and project teams to support incremental development.
- Perform industry benchmarking, integrate best‑practice insights, and shape future technology roadmaps.
- Govern architecture decisions, including lifecycle, security, network, and disaster‑recovery considerations.
- Leverage AI/ML for process automation where applicable.
- Maintain architecture governance and FinOps enablement.
**Required Skills:**
- 7+ years progressive solution architecture experience.
- Strong analytical, consultative, communication, facilitation, and professional writing skills.
- Expertise in cloud‑native architecture (Azure, GCP), system integration, and network design.
- Ability to extract scope, define requirements, and make decisions in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Leadership: experience influencing stakeholders, leading meetings, and mentoring teams.
- Understanding of AI/ML opportunities for business process automation.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform architecture certifications (preferred).
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification (nice to have).
