**Job title:** Marketing Cloud Solution Architect
**Role Summary:**
Remote strategic advisor responsible for designing, architecting, and optimizing marketing technology (MarTech) solutions that drive business value and deliver seamless, data‑driven customer experiences. Works closely with clients and multidisciplinary internal teams to translate marketing goals into scalable, integrated technology architectures, and provides thought leadership on emerging MarTech trends.
**Expectations:**
- Lead end‑to‑end solution design, from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
- Develop and maintain high‑level architecture deliverables (technical designs, solution diagrams, deployment plans).
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a broad portfolio of MarTech platforms, guiding clients toward modern, API‑centric ecosystems.
- Own business development efforts including RFP responses, technical proposals, and executive presentations.
- Build and mentor technical teams, foster collaboration across functions, and drive continuous improvement in delivery practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess client requirements, identify gaps, and craft comprehensive MarTech roadmaps integrating CMS, DAM, CDP, MRM, MAPs, personalization engines, and other relevant tools.
- Design and document system architectures, integration flows, data models, and security frameworks.
- Oversee implementation of APIs, middleware, and data pipelines to enable real‑time, cross‑channel customer engagement.
- Liaise with stakeholders—from C‑suite executives to operational staff—to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
- Participate in pre‑sales and post‑sales activities: field RFPs, develop pitch decks, conduct demos, and present technical solutions to prospects.
- Stay current on MarTech innovations, evaluate new platforms, and recommend enhancements that align with industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations, and security standards across all integrated systems.
**Required Skills:**
- 6+ years of experience delivering MarTech solutions at scale.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and proof of certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Consultant, Email Specialist).
- Solid understanding of MarTech stack: CMS, DAM, CDP, MRM, MAPs, personalization engines, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Proven technical architecture experience: design deliverables, solution diagrams, data models, API specifications.
- Strong business development acumen: client relationship management, RFP response, pitch deck creation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Preferred: bilingual fluency in French and English.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or related field (preferred).
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Marketing Cloud Consultant, Email Specialist) or equivalent MarTech credentials.
- Additional certifications (e.g., MuleSoft, Azure, AWS) are a plus but not mandatory.
