Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and scale high‑availability backend microservices and APIs in a distributed, cloud‑native architecture to support a healthcare automation platform. Expectations: * 3–10+ years of backend or platform engineering experience. * Proven ability to build production‑grade, scalable systems. * Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and growth mindset. * Track record of measurable impact on prior projects. Key Responsibilities: * Architect and implement microservices using Python (FastAPI) and PostgreSQL on GCP. * Build, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs and asynchronous workflow systems. * Integrate ML‑powered automation components with production services. * Participate in architecture and scalability discussions. * Collaborate with DevOps, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust production releases. Required Skills: * **Languages:** Python (FastAPI); familiarity with Java, Go, or C is a plus. * **Databases:** PostgreSQL. * **Cloud:** Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * **Distributed Systems:** Deep knowledge of microservices, event‑driven design, and reliability patterns. * **API Design:** Experience with REST, asynchronous workflows, and data pipelines. * **Tools:** Terraform (optional), CI/CD pipelines. * **Communication:** Strong cross‑functional collaboration and technical documentation skills. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Certifications in distributed systems, cloud architecture, or backend development are advantageous but not mandatory.
