Job Description

**Job Title:** Automation Engineer (F/H) **Role Summary:** Design, program, and integrate PLC automation solutions for industrial clients across Belgium. Serve as the technical bridge between the engineering office and customers, ensuring functional specifications are met and project progress is reported. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality automation solutions on time and within specifications. - Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. - Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting. - Contribute to a multicultural, international project environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Write functional specifications and detailed requirement documents. - Program Siemens and/or Schneider PLCs and develop associated HMI screens. - Integrate and commission automation equipment on site. - Act as liaison between design office and client throughout project lifecycle. - Produce regular progress reports, including status updates and non‑conformance logs. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of Siemens and/or Schneider PLC programming. - Experience with HMI development (e.g., WinCC, Vijeo Designer). - Ability to draft technical specifications and functional analyses. - Good communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. - Proficiency in reporting and documentation tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Automation, Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications in PLC programming (Siemens S7, Schneider Modicon) are a plus. - Significant industrial automation experience preferred.
