**Job Title** Associate Developer, IT Application **Role Summary** Develop, test, and document application components using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Participate in Agile sprints and contribute to system design, performance optimization, and security best practices. **Expactations** - Deliver clear, maintainable code and test artifacts. - Conduct debugging, root‑cause analysis, and performance tuning. - Write secure code and conduct vulnerability reviews. - Identify automation and simplification opportunities. **Key Responsibilities** - Write, test, troubleshoot, and document technical work (code, scripts, processes) per organizational standards. - Debug design‑time and run‑time issues, isolating problems in dependencies or cross‑service interactions. - Design and enhance architectures to ensure reliability, resiliency, security, and performance. - Detect and correct operational issues using telemetry and monitoring data. - Apply secure coding practices and perform code reviews for potential vulnerabilities. - Spot and propose automation or simplification initiatives to improve team efficiency. **Required Skills** - Java (Spring Boot) - PostgreSQL - Docker, Kubernetes - REST API / Microservices architecture - Agile project management methodology (Scrum/Kanban) - Troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning - Secure coding practices **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). - 2–3 years of hands‑on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience. *Preferred Qualifications* - Experience in the airline industry (business processes and supporting technology). - Distributed systems and microservices exposure.
