Job Description
Job Title: Quality and Compliance Manager Role Summary: Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance and compliance programs for a full line of consumer goods, ensuring that each SKU meets safety, durability and regulatory requirements through data-driven analysis, CAPA initiatives, supplier collaboration and continuous improvement. Expactations: • Deliver measurable improvements in product quality and reduce non-conformities. • Enhance compliance across multiple certification regimes (CE, FDA, FSC, OEKO‑TEX, etc.). • Foster a culture of data‑driven decision making and proactive risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain and audit product quality and regulatory compliance for all SKUs. 2. Update and verify technical files, certifications and documentation. 3. Identify, investigate and define root causes of quality issues; lead CAPA projects. 4. Analyze samples and defect data to confirm causes and verify solutions. 5. Coordinate external lab testing and certification body interactions. 6. Partner with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to prevent recurrence of defects. 7. Generate reports on quality performance metrics for senior management. Required Skills: • 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or regulatory compliance in consumer goods. • In-depth knowledge of testing methods and certification processes (CE, FDA, FSC, OEKO‑TEX, etc.). • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools and problem‑solving. • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and effective collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders. • Passion for sustainability and customer satisfaction. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field. • Certifications such as ISO 9001 lead auditor, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or regulatory compliance credentials are a plus.
