Job Description

Job title: Senior Test Automation Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks for a Market Data platform, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient testing processes across manual and automated domains. Expectations: Deliver robust, scalable test automation solutions; mentor junior testers; communicate testing progress to leadership; collaborate effectively with IT and business stakeholders; continuously improve testing strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automated test frameworks using Playwright or Cypress. - Develop, maintain, and execute both manual and automated test cases for new platform releases. - Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and report results to leadership. - Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to define test requirements and resolve defects. - Provide technical guidance to junior testers and contribute to process improvements. - Monitor and analyze test metrics to drive quality improvements. Required Skills: - Proven experience in test automation (Playwright, Cypress). - Strong scripting skills in Python or JavaScript. - Knowledge of SQL and relational databases. - Familiarity with cloud environments. - Experience in banking or Market Data domains is advantageous. Required Education & Certifications: - ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification. - Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
