ServiceNow Lead Developer (CIS‑FSM Certified)
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end customization and development on the ServiceNow platform, delivering scalable, secure solutions for customer service (CSM), field service (FSM), and supply‑chain operations (SOM). Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into robust applications, scripts, and integrations using both pro‑code and low‑code/no‑code tooling.

- Design and implement application architecture that aligns with enterprise security, governance, and scalability standards.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality.
- Communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions to stakeholders with clear documentation.
- Proactively stay current with ServiceNow releases, new features, and best practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
2. Develop workflows, client‑ and server‑side scripts, and REST/JSON integrations.
3. Build and extend Service Portal widgets, UI Builder pages, and Creator Studio/App Engine Studio components.
4. Integrate ServiceNow with external enterprise systems (HR, CMDB, ERP) via Integration Hub and custom adapters.
5. Perform unit, integration, and performance testing; debug and troubleshoot production issues.
6. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure compliance with configuration, security, and governance standards.
7. Partner with business analysts and business owners to capture and validate functional requirements.
8. Guide release management, change control, and deployment activities in a CI/CD environment.
**Required Skills**
- 6+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Proven expertise in ServiceNow CSM, FSM, and SOM modules.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow domain separation, security models, and multi‑tenant architecture.
- Strong JavaScript (Rhino engine) proficiency; comfortable with AngularJS, jQuery, Node.js.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Apache Jelly, Groovy, and REST/web technologies.
- Hands‑on development using low‑code/no‑code platforms: Creator Studio, App Engine Studio, UI Builder, Service Portal.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST APIs, and data modeling.
- Ability to write clean, reusable code and maintain technical documentation.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Field Service Management (CIS‑FSM).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Additional service‑center certifications (CSM, SOM) are a plus.
