Job Title: HR Assistant Role Summary Support day‑to‑day HR operations within the People & Culture team, ensuring accurate employee data, compliance with HR policies and legislation, and high‑quality service for staff and managers. Key Responsibilities - Respond to and resolve HR ticket queries; investigate and escalate to subject‑matter experts. - Manage employee lifecycle actions: onboarding, probation, employment changes, terminations, and related documentation. - Produce and process employment letters, contracts, exam and exit letters, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Monitor parental leave, visa/immigration compliance (UKVI), and TUPE processes. - Maintain accurate electronic personnel files and HRIS data (BWGo/Oracle). - Generate employee data reports and answer bid questionnaires within deadlines. - Process department invoices, raise purchase orders in line with budgets. - Participate in HRIS testing, bug reporting, and propose process improvements. - Provide references for tenancy/mortgage applications. - Support annual processes: exam awards, promotions, salary reviews. - Assist with HR projects, attend working group meetings, and support related activities. Required Skills - 2+ years of HR functional experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). - Strong written and verbal communication. - Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and prioritization skills. - Confidence in drafting and reviewing employee documentation. - Ability to multitask, work independently, and as part of a team. - High customer‑service focus and discreet professionalism.
