Job Description

**Job Title:** Staff ML Scientist **Role Summary:** Lead end-to-end AI/ML initiatives to drive business impact through personalization, trust & safety, marketing optimization, and product experience. Focus on scalable, data-driven solutions for large-scale platforms with billions of daily events. **Expectations:** Deliver measurable results via ML model development, deployment, and optimization. Prototype/enhance solutions within 6 months; establish scalable ML systems and mentor junior teams within 12 months. **Key Responsibilities:** - Spearhead ML projects from ideation to deployment in areas like personalization, computer vision, and GenAI. - Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. - Design scalable ML solutions for product, marketing, operations, and community functions. - Own the full ML lifecycle: data exploration, model development, deployment, and performance optimization. - Research and implement emerging AI/ML trends and technologies. **Required Skills:** - 7-10 years of experience in big data ML systems. - Expertise in CNNs, Transformers, Vision Transformers, and deep learning (PyTorch/TensorFlow). - Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark (PySpark/Scala), and ML frameworks. - Strong mathematical/statistical foundation (linear algebra, statistics, probability, calculus). - A/B testing experience and clear communication of technical concepts. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related fields. - Advanced degrees (PhD/MSc) preferred but not mandatory.
