Job Description
Job Title: Building Automation & Control Engineer (GTB-GTC) Role Summary Design, develop, commission, and maintain building automation systems. Draft functional and architectural specifications, program PLCs, supervise system performance, and provide client training and support. Expectations Deliver accurate architectural designs and functional analyses. Develop and modify control programs. Ensure rigorous project documentation, reporting, and client satisfaction. Demonstrate initiative, corrective skill, and clear communication. Key Responsibilities - Design GTB/GTC architectures: define point lists, input/output allocation diagrams, and supervisory system layouts. - Draft functional analyses and specifications for building automation projects. - Program and modify PLC/automaton code across multiple platforms. - Conduct commissioning, testing, and ongoing maintenance of installed systems. - Train and mentor client technical teams on system operation and troubleshooting. - Generate structured project reports for stakeholders and management. Required Skills - Proficiency in building automation protocols (KNX, DALI, MODBUS, BACnet). - Experience with supervisory software (Niagara, Siemens, WIT, WAGO, etc.). - PLC/Automation programming and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of HVAC regulation, lighting control, and building data management. - Strong analytical, documentation, and customer‑service capabilities. - Team collaboration and proposal‑making skills.
