Job Description

Job title: Full Stack Engineer Role Summary: Mid‑level developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable Python/Django backend systems, while contributing to React‑based front‑end components to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. Expectations: Deliver robust, maintainable code; collaborate effectively with scientists, product specialists, and peers; own the backend architecture and workflow automation; expand expertise in Python, Django, APIs, and cloud‑hosted SaaS platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain Python/Django backend services and business logic. - Develop and schedule automated tasks, data pipelines, and customer‑specific workflows. - Define and document APIs, data models, and database schemas for high‑performance applications. - Work with React developers to integrate backend APIs into responsive user interfaces. - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning. - Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to translate complex requirements into efficient code. Required Skills: - Proficient in Python and Django (including Django REST Framework). - Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), ORM, and query optimization. - Familiarity with Celery, Redis, or similar task queue systems. - Comfortable with JavaScript and React for front‑end integration. - Knowledge of RESTful API design, versioning, and documentation. - Version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker). - Unit testing, debugging, and performance profiling. - Agile development practices and strong communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
